Tim Freeland,
President of Freeland Bros.
Construction Inc. has been named
Home Builders Association of
Hartford County, Remodeler of
the Year for 2009. Tim has been
a member of the HBA of Hartford
County for almost 10 years.
During that time he has quietly
been involved in many projects
and activities, lending a hand
and resources to the Remodelers
Council.
Early in his career, Tim enjoyed
working with his hands and got
great satisfaction that came
with fulfilling the needs of his
clients. Freeland Bros.
Construction is a family owned
and operated company that has
been in operation since 1992.
They primarily specialize in
residential remodeling and pride
themselves on high quality
craftsmanship and outstanding
customer service.
Tim has been an active member of
the HBA’s Remodelers Council and
the Council’s Executive
Committee. He has take on the
role of reviewing submissions
for the Council’s Community
Service Projects and this year
lead the remodel project at Auer
Farms in Bloomfield. Tim will be
serving as Chair of the
Remodelers Council in 2010 and
2011. One of his goals will be
to get the message out about the
benefits and resources of the
Remodelers Council and the HBA,
both to the Home owner and the
Building professional.
Tim is also actively involved in
his community. He served as
treasurer of the Berlin Little
League, was on the Saint
Gabriel’s Church Vestry and
Building committee and was a
volunteer YMCA ski instructor.
Tim and his wife Lori live in
East Berlin with their 3
children. Tim graduated from
Notre Dame High School in West
Haven and holds a B.S. in
Business Administration from the
University if Connecticut. Tim
is also a Certified Graduate
Remodeler (CGR).
